One summer, Alison spent many hours in the car with the kids listening to nursery rhymes. The kids loved listening to them, singing along and cheering... However, they were annoying in a very particular way that made Alison want to stab herself in the eye with a fork.
Instead, she said to Pete: "can we please record some bog-standard nursery rhymes and make them available to anyone else who has the same problem as me (an intolerance to existing nursery rhyme recordings)?"
Pete said: "ok, but do we have to? we have about two albums worth of new original songs that we haven't recorded and released yet..."
Alison said: "what about if we just do it super-simply, on the phone, with mistakes, whenever we have a practice?"
Pete said: "but we never practice"
Alison said: "let's practice!"
Pete said: "ok!"

Here's our first attempt... recorded on the phone, mistakes and all. :-)
